The IBM Lotus Sametime demo 8.0.2 is now being hosted by Lotus Greenhouse. To use the Lotus Greenhouse demo, follow the steps below.

For Questions regarding the demo, first check discussions at the following forum Sametime Forum. You will first need to create an account as described below.
Step 1: Join the Lotus GreenhouseTo use the Gateway on Lotus Greenhouse you must be a member. To join the Lotus Greenhouse go to http://greenhouse.lotus.com and click the orange Join Now button. Fill in the registration form and submit it.
Step 2: Register on the Lotus GreenhouseYou will receive an e-mail with a unique key within an hour to register. Once you have completed registration you can log on to the Lotus Greenhouse.
Step 3: Create an iNotes accountYou must have an iNotes account on Greenhouse before you can use the IBM Lotus Gateway.
Follow these steps if you have not previously created an iNotes account:
Logon to the Greenhouse website.
From the black navigation bar at the top of the screen select My Account
Push the green button that says "Create My email account"
ie (xxx.greenhouse.lotus.com)
Tell your Yahoo, AIM and Google buddies to add your new xxx.greenhouse.lotus.com id
Manage communities -> Add New community -> User Name and Password (ID and Password you use to log into Lotus Greenhouse) Server -> Host Server: sametime.lotus.com, port 80 Connection -> Direct connection using HTTP protocol; uncheck the box "Use global connection settings"
Additional Information:The following external instant messaging clients are supported for use with Lotus Sametime Gateway:
- AOL: AOL Instant Messenger™ (AIM) 5.9 and 6.0
- Google: Google Talk™
- Yahoo: Yahoo Messenger® 8.1
